about

With shades of early Coldplay, Bon Iver and the Shins, the song builds into a crescendo that is both spine tingling and epic. Throughout the track, sweeping cello melodies and beautifully rich vocal lines delivered by Gary, Gerard and John create a hypnotic and engaging landscape. As the song develops, so too does the instrumentation which leads the song into a drums and bass style ending. This track highlights all that is wonderful about the band and is sure to help Runabay grow their sizeable fan base even further.

lyrics

All her sweetness came, ordinarily, underneath the covers,
tearing at my clothes with her foreign tongue, open like the lotus
All her sweetness came and set me free
Suddenly alone searching for my love deep beneath the surface,
tearing at my heart with her foreign tongue, open like the lotus
All her sweetness came and set me free
I can see her sweet glow
rising from the sea below
suddenly i feel
love only love
fallen at the sun rows
to the lotus sea below
to rest within my soul
I can see her sweet glow
rising from the sea below
suddenly I feel
